I’ve bought cichlids online for over a decade and this was the most impressively packaged order I’ve ever received. No detail was spared in order to make sure the fish arrived healthy. I’ve ordered from snake river, live fish direct, imperial tropicals, and many other online vendors and the colors on the peacocks I received was superior to all of them. Will definitely order again in the near future.

I’ve personally never had a bad experience in Danbury Aquarium’s shop. I am fortunate enough to take occasional trips and am always greeted by attentive staff or the owner, Enio. Everybody involved with the shop is very knowledgeable as well, and they carry all types of fish. As of right now, they have a large amount of both South American and African Cichlids, so make sure to jump on the opportunity to snag a few for yourself! I can’t speak for online orders but I assume I would be saying the same thing as I see in the store: Healthy fish that are in tanks currently being treated! Thank you to Enio and the staff for a great experience every time I come into your store!

Enio is a great guy! He is so knowledgeable about the fish he carries and makes sure everything is correct before you purchase. He has evolved my tank in so many ways and I’m forever grateful to for finding his business! Many rare and unique options you won’t find at your local pet store!

Bought fish here yesterday. Was a great experience, Enio the owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. Gave me great advice on how to solve an issue in one of my tanks. The fish I purchased were beautiful and I have not seen in any other fish stores. He has all kinds of fish in all different sizes. I paid less than I would have expected. While there, other customers walked in and knew Enio so you can see he gets plenty of repeat customers. Was a great experience for me and would definitely recommend going there.

Purchase a few South American Cichlids from Danbury Aquariums and both shipments arrived well packaged, with heat warmers, and thorough instructions on acclimating the fish. The fish all arrived healthy and colorful without stress. I ordered two Red Devils and two Jaguar cichlids, they were kind enough to throw in an extra Jaguar which was very nice of them. The cichlids are in a 250 gallon aquarium.
